Lesson 2 of 4

Content people actually save

Five repeatable post formats that earn saves and shares — with the hook and structure for each.

“Post valuable content” is useless advice because it doesn’t tell you what to make on a Tuesday when you have twenty minutes. So here are five formats that reliably earn saves, each one repeatable every week with different inputs. Pick two or three and rotate them. You don’t need variety; you need consistency in formats that work.

1. The neighborhood breakdown

Pick a neighborhood. Show what a specific budget gets you there — rent or purchase — with real examples and the trade-offs (quieter but longer commute, pricier but walkable). Buyers and renters save these because they’re doing exactly this comparison in their heads, and they send them to whoever they’re deciding with. Hook: “What $3,000 a month actually gets you in [neighborhood].”

2. The “mistake” post

Name a specific, costly mistake and how to avoid it. “The listing photo mistake that adds two weeks to your sale.” Specific, slightly contrarian, immediately useful. Hook: “Stop doing this if you want [outcome].”

3. The real walk-through

A genuine phone video through a property — not a produced tour. Talk to the camera, point out what’s actually good and what’s a compromise. Honesty reads as trust, and trust gets forwarded. (This overlaps with our listing video course — the short-video lesson next covers the mechanics.)

4. The process explainer

Take one confusing part of buying, selling or renting and make it simple. What an escrow actually is. How a rental application gets approved. What a “contingency” means. People save what finally made a scary thing make sense. Hook: “[Confusing thing], explained in 30 seconds.”

5. The local proof

You, doing the job, in your market. A closing. A won bidding war. A unit leased in three days. It builds the quiet case that you’re active and good without you ever saying “I’m the best agent.” Show, don’t claim.

The structure that makes any of them work

Your takeaway

Choose two of these five and commit to them weekly. A predictable format you can actually sustain beats a brilliant one-off. Next lesson: short-form video, which is where most of the reach lives now — done on a phone, without dread.
