Is Zillow Showcase right for you?

4 questions, 15 seconds.

Question 1 of 4

How many listings do you put on Zillow per month?

Question 2 of 4

Does your brokerage have a Zillow agreement?

Question 3 of 4

Do you already pay for professional photos, 3D tours, and floor plans?

Question 4 of 4

What matters most to you right now?

Your answer

Use Showcase on the listings that need it most.

If you list fewer than one home a month, a per-listing plan fits best, since a monthly subscription is billed each month. Ask whether your brokerage offers per-listing pricing, as RE/MAX ($150 a listing) and Baird & Warner (40% off) do. Budget for photography ($250–$500) too, and use Showcase on the listings where presentation matters most.

Your answer

Showcase makes sense if your brokerage has a deal.

At one to three listings a month, Showcase makes sense if you already pay for professional photos and a 3D tour. If your brokerage has an enterprise agreement, such as RE/MAX at $150 a listing or Baird & Warner at 40% off, the extra cost is modest. On retail pricing, which RE/MAX describes as $300 to $750 on a six- to 12-month contract, ask Zillow for a per-listing quote and the early-termination terms first. Use the performance report to show sellers what their listing achieved.

Your answer

Showcase can be a listing-winning tool at your volume.

Zillow says agents who use Showcase on more than half their listings win 35% more listings. At more than three listings a month, per-listing pricing through a brokerage deal ($150 a listing for RE/MAX agents) keeps the cost tied to the listings you actually upgrade. Use Showcase in your listing presentation: the premium page, the 3D tour and the performance report you'll share with the seller.

Zillow Showcase is Zillow’s paid premium listing. A listing agent buys it for a home they’re selling, and the listing gets professional photos, an interactive floor plan and a 3D tour, a larger image on Zillow’s search map, a temporary boost in search, email alerts to buyers whose saved searches match, and the agent’s photo and reviews on the page. Zillow says Showcase listings get 84% more page views and sell for 2% more than similar listings nearby. Zillow doesn’t publish a price. The clearest public figure is RE/MAX’s description of Zillow’s normal retail price, $300 to $750, on a six- to 12-month contract with at least one listing a month.

Zillow quotes Showcase prices inside Zillow Workspace, so published figures vary. Brokerages with Zillow agreements pay less: RE/MAX agents pay $150 a listing with no contract. Photography is billed separately, typically $250 to $500.

This guide covers what’s on a Showcase listing, how an agent buys one and gets it live, how the pricing works, what Zillow’s performance figures actually measure, and who Showcase suits. A growing share of agents use it: about 5% of new listings on Zillow by mid-2026 and more than 10% in Zillow’s ten largest markets.

What is Zillow Showcase?

Zillow Showcase is an upgraded version of a Zillow for-sale listing. Every home for sale on Zillow gets a standard listing page from the MLS feed. A Showcase listing replaces that with a richer page built around large photos, a room-by-room layout, an interactive floor plan and a 3D tour, and it is promoted harder in Zillow’s search results and emails.

It launched on 27 June 2023 as Listing Showcase, sold under Zillow’s ShowingTime+ brand, in five markets: Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Diego and Seattle (Zillow press release). It reached 17 markets by the end of that year and went nationwide on 21 February 2024 (Zillow). By mid-2024 Zillow was calling it Zillow Showcase, which is the name it uses today.

The product’s two audiences:

  • For the agent, it’s a listing presentation tool. Showing a seller that their home will get a premium Zillow listing, and a performance report afterwards, helps win the listing.
  • For the buyer, it’s a better way to look at a home online: walk the floor plan, tour it in 3D, and see photos grouped by room.

Every Zillow Showcase feature

The listing page

  • High-resolution hero images. A scrolling set of large photos at the top of the listing. Zillow’s AI picks the top three to five photos and the agent can change the selection (Zillow).
  • Featured rooms. Photos grouped room by room. Zillow’s AI groups and names the rooms, and the agent can edit them.
  • Interactive floor plan. A clickable floor plan, linked to the photos and the 3D tour. It’s part of the required media for every Showcase listing (Zillow terms).
  • 3D home tour. A virtual walk-through of the home, also required.
  • Floor plan on the map. The floor plan appears in the listing’s map view.
  • Showcase video. One video of up to 120 seconds, added in late September 2025 at no extra cost. The agent can introduce themselves in it, but persistent logos aren’t allowed (Zillow).
  • SkyTour. An aerial, 3D view of the property and neighborhood, launched in July 2025. It’s included when drone footage is shot through Zillow Media Experts’ premium package (Zillow, SkyTour).
  • AI Virtual Staging. Launched in September 2025: the agent can stage empty rooms in a choice of styles from inside Showcase (Zillow).
  • Zillow Immerse on Apple Vision Pro. Showcase listings are added to Zillow’s Vision Pro app automatically (Zillow).
  • Open house tag on the search results and the listing page.

Promotion on Zillow

  • Larger image on the search map, plus Showcase markers and tags, “so customers see your listings first” (Zillow).
  • A search boost. Zillow’s terms describe “a temporary boost in a user’s personalized search results” (terms).
  • Email alerts. When a buyer’s saved search matches the home, the Showcase listing is sent to them in a dedicated email.

For the agent

  • Agent branding. The agent’s photo, reviews, credentials and social links appear on the listing, along with the Best of Zillow badge if the agent has one.
  • Listing performance insights. A dashboard of views, saves, shares and days on Zillow, launched in April 2025, with a Share report button that produces a report for the seller (Zillow, guide).
  • Marketing materials and a listing presentation: emails, social posts and flyers built around Showcase, for pitching sellers (Zillow).
  • Team workspaces. Teams can assign, share and manage Showcase listings across agents.
  • One login with Zillow’s other agent tools, including dotloop and ShowingTime.

What’s Showcase-only and what isn’t

Some of this you can get without Showcase. Any listing can carry a 3D tour and an interactive floor plan made with the free Zillow 3D Home app, and Zillow says listings with an interactive floor plan already get prioritized placement in search (Zillow 3D Home FAQ). What only Showcase gets is the redesigned listing page, the larger map image and markers, the search boost, the dedicated emails, the agent branding block, the performance report, SkyTour and Vision Pro.

Coming next: Zillow told shareholders in its Q2 2026 letter that it expects to launch instant floor plans, captured with a smartphone, later in 2026 (Q2 2026 letter).

How Zillow Showcase works for an agent

  1. Get access. Showcase is for licensed, active agents, teams and brokerages. Individual agents sign up through Zillow Workspace or Zillow’s sales team; brokerages go through zillowshowcase.com for an enterprise agreement (Zillow). If you’re new, you first add Showcase to your workspace (guide).
  2. Order Showcase for a listing. In Zillow Workspace, click “Order Showcase & media” on the listing, enter the list price and pick a payment method (guide). Zillow’s playbook is explicit: “You must order Showcase BEFORE ordering your media.”
  3. Book the photography. The listing needs HD photos, a 3D tour and an interactive floor plan, which “requires photographers with specific equipment and training”. You can book Zillow Media Experts, or invite your own photographer, who has to meet the requirements and deliver through Zillow’s Aryeo platform (booking guide). Zillow Media Experts deliver photos and floor plans the next day (packages).
  4. Edit the listing. Check the hero photos, featured rooms and room names the AI picked, and add a Showcase video if you want one.
  5. Go live. “Once the listing goes live on the MLS, the Showcase listing will also automatically become live.” You have 90 days from purchase to activate it, or the listing is lost without a refund (terms).
  6. Report to the seller. Use the performance dashboard and its Share report.

You can also switch a listing that’s already live to Showcase. Zillow measures the effect of doing that separately (see below).

Photographers

Photographers who want to shoot Showcase listings work through Aryeo, Zillow’s media platform. Aryeo’s Showcase Select program is open to Aryeo Pro photographers (Aryeo). A photographer an agent invites can use the free Aryeo Lite to accept the job. An interactive floor plan needs a compatible 360-degree camera; a phone is enough for a basic virtual tour (Zillow 3D Home FAQ).

Zillow Showcase pricing

How Showcase is priced

Zillow quotes Showcase pricing in Zillow Workspace or through its sales team; its pages ask agents to “Contact Sales” or book a demo, and prices vary by market. The figures below come from brokerages and photographers describing their own prices, so treat them as reference points rather than a Zillow rate card.

How billing works (from Zillow’s terms)

  • It’s a subscription. “Zillow Showcase is an automatically renewing subscription requiring recurring payments.”
  • Two models in 2026: a Monthly Subscription Model, and a 2026 Subscription Model, “a minimum commitment subscription where Advertiser pays as Advertiser uses Services”: a price per listing, billed after use against a total annual commitment.
  • Pay-per-use option. Zillow’s Q1 2026 launch flyer: “removing monthly credits and introducing options to pay at the end of the month or at the time of purchase” (flyer). Under the 2024–25 terms, the minimum was one Showcase listing a month and unused listings didn’t roll over.
  • Cancellation terms. Cancel with 30 days’ notice before your next bill date. For early termination, the monthly model charges 50% of the unpaid subscription for the rest of the term, and the 2026 model the remainder of the annual commitment. Payments aren’t refundable.
  • Photography is extra. “the cost of Required Media is not included in the Subscription Price”.
  • Included at no extra cost: SkyTour (when drone footage is booked through Zillow Media Experts) and the Showcase video.
  • Through a brokerage, it can be different. When REMAX added Showcase in April 2026, Zillow said brokerages could offer it “without requiring them to sign a long-term contract”, “on a per-listing basis” (Zillow).
  • Sellers don’t pay Zillow. Zillow’s seller page has offered a free upgrade “for a limited time” on eligible homes (Zillow).

What people report paying

Because Zillow quotes pricing by market, the most reliable public figures come from brokerages describing their own Zillow deals to their agents, and from photographers pricing their own packages.

Who says itWhat they sayDateWhat it is

The pricing model has evolved. In 2023 and 2024, agents describe monthly subscriptions with a six-month commitment, sometimes with the photography included. One agent’s January 2024 Reddit post put it at “$400/mo” for a six-month subscription including one listing (r/realtors). By 2026, Zillow had dropped monthly credits and moved to paying per listing, and agents on Reddit describe per-listing fees of about $220 to $250 plus photography (r/RealEstatePhotography). Treat any single number, including these, as one data point: Zillow prices by market, and the price you’re quoted is the one that counts.

What AI assistants say it costs

We asked ChatGPT and Gemini five questions about Showcase, twice each, on 14 October 2026, and the answers quoted figures from $150 to $2,400. The most repeated ones trace to single brokerage offers or one agent’s 2024 post rather than to Zillow: “$1 upfront, the rest at closing”, for example, was one Century 21 brokerage’s 2024 offer to its own agents, not a Zillow plan. The quote in Zillow Workspace, or from your brokerage, is the one to use.

What Zillow says Showcase does

These are Zillow’s own figures from its Showcase Fast Facts page, updated 8 July 2026. Each compares Showcase listings with similar nearby listings without Showcase: same city within two miles, same home type, similar price, square footage and bedrooms, over the first 14 days on Zillow up to pending.

Zillow saysMeasured how
84% more page views, 77% more saves, 93% more sharesAverage of the 12 months to June 2026
10% more likely to go pending in the first 14 daysSame comparison
Sell for 2%, or $7,000, more on averageListings sold by March 2026, against similar listings in the same metro area
Agents who use Showcase on more than half their listings win 35% more listingsAgainst similar agents who don’t use Showcase, June 2022 to June 2026
Listings switched to Showcase got 85% more views, 72% more saves, 67% more sharesThe same listing, seven days before against seven days after

Two things worth knowing when you use these numbers with sellers:

  • The figures move. Zillow has published several versions: 68% more views in February 2024, 81% in March 2025, 84% now; “$9,000” more in 2024, $7,000 since September 2025. Older pages with older numbers are still live, so quote the date.
  • Zillow shows its method. Each figure is published with the comparison it’s based on, as in the table above, so you can explain it to a seller.

Who uses Zillow Showcase

Adoption has grown every quarter since launch. Zillow reports Showcase as a share of new for-sale listings on Zillow in its shareholder letters:

QuarterShare of new listings
Q2 2024more than 1%
Q4 20241.7%
Q2 2025about 2.5%
Q4 20253.7%
Q1 20264.3%
Q2 2026about 5%, and more than 10% in Zillow’s top 10 markets

Source: Zillow shareholder letters, Q2 2024 to Q2 2026.

Zillow’s early target was Showcase on 5–10% of listings, which it described as a $150–$300 million annual revenue opportunity (Q4 2023 letter). In September 2025 it said more than 50 brokerages had adopted Showcase and that it’s “designed to not exceed 10% of listings in a market” to keep it exclusive (Zillow).

Brokerages Zillow has named as Showcase partners include HomeServices of America, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, Christie’s International Real Estate, Howard Hanna, The Agency, Epique Realty, LPT Realty, Carolina One and, from April 2026, REMAX. Trade press has reported others, including Baird & Warner (August 2026), and Howard Hanna’s early exclusive in Pittsburgh and Cleveland in 2024 (HousingWire). Smaller brokerages offer their agents discounts or cover the cost themselves. We found no Showcase agreement for Keller Williams (which has signed up for Zillow Preview, Zillow’s pre-market listing product), eXp, Compass or @properties.

What agents say

Showcase has been discussed on r/realtors and r/RealEstatePhotography since 2023. A few agents in their own words:

  • Results: “I just tried my first showcase listing, got the home under contract with multiple full priced offers in 5 days, it was an expired listing from November, we listed it at the same price it expired at.” (agent, January 2024, r/realtors)
  • Views: “We usually get 1k-3k views on our listings on Zillow and we’re getting about 6k-7k views with the Showcase, so that’s a nice add-on to mention in a future listing appt too.” (agent team, January 2025, r/realtors)
  • Winning listings: “I’ve been using it in my listing presentation pitch, sellers seem to like it” (agent, January 2024, r/realtors)
  • Photography prices: “I quoted $549. He said he was going to go with the Zillow photographer who only charges $249 or close to that. Photos + 3D.” (photographer, July 2026, r/RealEstatePhotography)

Results vary by market and by listing, so ask Zillow or your brokerage for figures from your area.

Is Zillow Showcase worth it?

Showcase is easiest to justify as a listing-winning tool. A seller who is choosing between agents sees a premium Zillow listing, a 3D tour and a performance report they can see, and that is concrete in a way “I’ll market your home” isn’t. Zillow’s own headline figure for agents, 35% more listings won among heavy users, is about exactly that.

It suits you if:

  • You list homes where buyers search on Zillow first, which is most of the US. Showcase is promotion on Zillow and nowhere else.
  • You’d pay for professional photos, a 3D tour and a floor plan anyway. Then the extra cost is the Showcase fee alone.
  • Your brokerage has an enterprise agreement, which can mean per-listing pricing without a long-term contract.
  • You want a performance report to send sellers.

It adds the most when:

  • Your listings need more than a weekend to sell. The extra exposure counts most while a home is on the market for a few weeks.
  • You list steadily through the year, or you’re on a per-listing plan. Under a monthly subscription, each month is billed whether or not you list.

Before you buy, ask Zillow (or your brokerage) four things: the price per listing in your market, whether it’s monthly or an annual commitment, what the early-termination fee would be, and what the photography will cost on top.

FAQ

What is Zillow Showcase? Zillow Showcase is Zillow’s paid premium listing for homes for sale. A listing agent buys it, and the listing gets professional photos, a 3D tour and interactive floor plan, a redesigned listing page, a larger image on the search map, a temporary search boost, email alerts to matching buyers and the agent’s branding.

How much does Zillow Showcase cost? Zillow quotes pricing in Zillow Workspace or through its sales team. RE/MAX describes Zillow’s normal retail price as $300 to $750 on a six- to 12-month contract with at least one listing a month, and brokerages with Zillow agreements pay less: RE/MAX agents pay $150 per listing, and Baird & Warner agents get 40% off. Photography is billed separately.

Who pays for Zillow Showcase, the seller or the agent? The listing agent or their brokerage pays Zillow. Sellers don’t pay Zillow for Showcase, though an agent may include it in their marketing plan.

Is Zillow Showcase worth it? Zillow says Showcase listings get 84% more page views and sell for 2% more than similar listings nearby, and that agents who use it on most listings win 35% more listings. Zillow publishes the comparison method alongside them. It’s easiest to justify for agents who want to win listings and would pay for professional photos and a 3D tour anyway.

How do I get my listing on Zillow Showcase? Ask your agent, or if you’re the agent, add Showcase in Zillow Workspace, order Showcase for the listing before booking media, and have the photos, 3D tour and floor plan captured by Zillow Media Experts or a qualified photographer. The Showcase listing goes live when the listing goes live on the MLS.

Do Showcase homes on Zillow sell faster? Zillow says Showcase listings are 10% more likely to go pending in their first 14 days than similar nearby listings without Showcase. That’s Zillow’s figure; we found no independent study.

How do I become a Zillow Showcase photographer? Showcase media is delivered through Aryeo, Zillow’s media platform. Aryeo’s Showcase Select program is open to Aryeo Pro photographers, and an interactive floor plan needs a compatible 360-degree camera.
